vs Bitly
MonaQR and Bitly
Bitly is a short-link company. QR codes are one of the things you can attach to a Bitly link. MonaQR is the other way round: you start from a styled QR, optional short link, print pack and bio page.
What Bitly is (publicly)
Bitly’s public product is branded short URLs, click analytics and QR codes tied to those links. Plans and QR limits belong on bitly.com. Many people already have a Bitly account for links; adding a QR there is convenient.
What MonaQR is
MonaQR is a QR-first maker with styles, print packs, bio pages on <handle>.monaqr.site, image pages, and dynamic links on paid plans. Free: 3 codes, no card. Starter $9/mo or $90/yr. Pro $19/mo or $190/yr. Paid through Whop.
We do not run ads on the product pages. Plan limits are enforced on the server.
When MonaQR is a better fit
The artefact you care about is the printed square (look, logo, tent, sticker), not a branded short domain.
You want a bio page on a MonaQR subdomain next to Wi-Fi and WhatsApp types.
When to stay with them
You already shorten every campaign in Bitly and only need a basic QR on top.
